This is a Kamijo tribute, singer of the visual kei band Versailles. The five prettiest J-pop boys I've ever seen. I love the vampire theme of their song The Revenant Choir. [link]

I did this from memory, so it doesn't quite look like him, hence why I am calling it a tribute, not a portrait.

I noticed that... at about half way through sketching this, and I thought of you and figured if I posted this you'd be after me for a Griffith drawing. Nothing like a real life bishie to inspire, eh? (now I just might have to do a Griffith drawing for you ...humm when's you're birthday ....?) LOL

I'm glad you like it. It's a bit less 'cartoony/anime-ish' then my typical style. But I guess it's good practice to try something new once in a while.

Hmm, then I might have to do a Griffith/Guts drawing in time for both your birthdays, cause I know Mel loves Griffith, and we all know how you feel about Guts! LOL

As for your art style I think would reflect your latest interest. I find it does for me, hence the more realistic approach to this piece.

Hmm, yeah scribbles can go a long way, when used right. This is one of the few times it worked out. As for the hair, it took the longest to do, but it was worth the bruised pinkie finger. lol
